Donation from The Lions Club Whangārei bolsters packages of care

The Lions Club Whangārei has generously donated $20,000 towards counselling packages of care. This will enable every general practice in the Manaia Health PHO area to benefit from at least 2 or 3 extra packages of care per year. This funding comes from the club's community fundraising activities and annual fireworks event held at Toll Stadium. An enormous thanks go to the Lions for this innovative approach to working collaboratively with their local primary health care provider.
