I joined Manaia Health PHO in November 2015 as a Temp for the Receptionist/Administration support person. I am very grateful to have been offered a permanent role in this position in April 2016.

This FREE diabetes self-management course is ideal for people who have completed the Whakamana Hauora self-management course
This block starts Monday 16 May, 1pm to 3.30pm and runs until Monday 30 May.

The programme is designed to help people understand their condition, learn skills, and gain confidence in managing their condition.

This course is an ideal follow-on for anyone who has a long-term respiratory condition and has attended the Whakamana Hauora self-management course.
The session will cover a broad range of topics relating to long term respiratory conditions. Course content will be tailored to the specific needs of the group, but topics may include: breathing, fatigue levels and energy conservation, medications, resources available to help, keeping well, asthma and COPD.
Venue is Manaia PHO, 28-30 Rust Ave, Whangarei.
