New Zealand Registered Dietitian. Masters in Nutrition Education.
Background
3 years at the Diabetes Centre at Northland Health. Participated in the setting up of self management groups for people with diabetes. Previous to that, I was involved in the training of dietetics students in South Africa. This included under and post graduate students and supervision of the students communtiy practicum.
Present Role
See patients with diet-related issues as referred through the General Practices of the Manaia PHO. Also work with the two Iwi Health Providers - Hauora Whanui and Kia Ora Ngatiwai, in the Whangarei area. Provide support to other health professionals about food and nutrition issues.
