Background
I have a background in nursing and have been nursing in the Whangarei area for the past 25 years. Prior to working in this role I was a Public Health Nurse for 7 years.
 
Present Role
The Youth Health Project focus is Adolescent Health Services in Secondary Schools in Whangarei. The purpose of this project is to provide easy access to a free, culturally appropriate, youth-friendly school based health service for young people who do not access heatlh-care elsewhere. There are currently four secondary schools and the Alternative Education Consortium involved in this project. Two new schools are joining the project in the 2nd term this year.
