Background
I was appointed CEO at the time of the organisation's establishment in July 2003. Prior to that I held the position of General Manager for Primary Health Care and Public Health at the Northland District Health Board and have had extensive experience in health care management and community development nationally and internationally.
Present Role
"A key driver in my current role is the {Primary Health Care Strategy} The theory is excellent. Our challenge is to translate it to sustained improved health for our community. The ongoing development of integrated primary health care teams is essential for this to happen"
