Endorsed Practice Review Activities
MANAIA HEALTH PHO HAS IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES ENDORSED FROM COLLEGE
We have successfully submitted applications for endorsement from the RNZCGP for practice review activities for allocation of MOPS credits as Continuous Quality Improvement Activities – the endorsed activities are:
- PMP (Performance Management Programme)
- Disability Project – commencing in March 2009.
The application that includes the project descriptions and outlines are available on request from Linda Holman and the Manaia Health PHO website. General Practitioners taking part in these activities can claim credits for each cycle completed in accordance with the MOPS programme. The status will remain in place for three years: 4 February 2012.
In order for General Practitioners to provide adequate evidence of participation in the activities they will require the following documentation:
- A certificate of participation
To claim credits General Practitioners will require a certificate of participation from Manaia Health PHO. This can be applied for through Linda Holman.
or
- A summary of data collected
and
- A continuous Quality Improvement summary sheet
This is completed by the General Practitioner, specifying how the audit of their own practice has resulted in changes. Form can be accessed from the College website: www.rcnzgp.org.nz in the Education section under MOPS points.
