I am married with two boys.

I have been a GP for 16 years and I currently work as GP liaison for Northland District Health Board in addition to doing some GP locum work.

Previous Roles:
I was previously a House Officer in Gisborne (first year) and Hastings (second year ).  I completed a Diploma in Obstetrics while in Hastings.

I completed my qualifications under the GP training scheme in Northland and worked in a group practice doing both General Practice and GP obstetrics for 5 years prior to having my own children.

Most rewarding aspect of my job:
The most rewarding aspect of my current job is the ability to redesign patient flows that allows for the most efficient use of limited resources, eliminating waste in terms of both people’s time and money.
