Te Whare O Te Wairakau

This is a new SIA contract with Whakatohia Te Hauora O Te Tangata Trust, the purpose of which is to fund specific aspects of service delivery to support whaea Gina Tamaki in her work as a traditional Maori healer.

These include:

• Support for an alternative whare
• Support for the purchase of essential capital items
• Support for the professional development of whaea Gina and a limited number of kaimahi
• Administrative support, including a part-time administrator who will initially focus on development of a client data base, client feedback mechanisms, development of robust financial/contractual reporting systems, and ensuring health & safety requirements are adhered to.
