MSW (Applied) (1st Hons) (Massey); MBS (Massey); MSocSc (Waikato); Registered SW (SWRB, NZ; GSCC, England); MANZASW.
Most of my social work career has been with the statutory social work sector including recent experience in England. Prior to my current role at Manaia Health I was a tutor at NorthTec with the Social Services Programme.
Present Role
Abuse Prevention Coordinator - Whakamana Whānau
The purpose of this position is reduce the health harm of family violence by implementing quality early intervention (screening) programmes in Manaia Health PHO primary health services with a particular focus on general practice. I took up this position in early 2010 and look forward to working with the many other individuals and agencies who are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of all people in our community.
