I was born in Kawakawa Hospital, raised and schooled in Otara and Otahuhu, South Auckland and have a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Auckland. I returned to the north in 1998 to live, work and raise three wonderful sons with my late husband Anton. As well as my many health roles, I am a Trustee of Whangarei Boys’ High School and am involved with local charities and community organisations.
