Supermarket Tours
Supermarket tours are a FREE SERVICE offered by Manaia Health PHO.
Tours are offered on a regular basis and rotated around the supermarkets in Whangarei.
They take about 1.5 - 2 hours walking around the supermarket and talking about products, labels and healthy eating.
Tours adapt according to the people taking part and the questions they have. Supermarket tours are a great service for people with questions around healthy eating, diabetes, weight loss and cardiovascular disease. A qualified dietitian takes the tours and each group is limited to a maximum of 5 people at a time.
Day and evening tours are also available - if none of the listed times suit, please feel free to ring Corey and talk about other suitable times. If you have a small group of people interested in doing a tour you are welcome to contact Corey directly to arrange a separate date/time for your group.
