Background:  I graduated in 2004, then completed my New Graduate Programme on Ward 15, where I stayed.  In 2009, I developed the role of Assessment and Rehabilitation coordinating nurse working closely with the Geriatricians and medical/surgical teams and managing the assessments for all referrals to the A&R unit.  I have a particular interest in A&R, Gerontology and a commitment to Maori health and reducing the gaps for our at risk population.

Currently:  I joined the Manaia PHO team in November 2014 as the Primary Options Clinical Coordinator for Manaia PHO and Te Tai Tokerau PHO.  My work aims to improve access to services for patients through their GPs, and reducing ED admissions across Tai Tokerau

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor of Health Science
•    Graduate of Nga Manukura o Apopo; Clinical Leadership Programme for Maori Nurses and Midwives
•    Post Graduate Nursing 773:  Advanced Assessment and Diagnostic Reasoning
