Oranga Kai Healthy Eating-Healthy Action Programme

The Oranga Kai 6 week cooking workshops aim to assist whānau and their support agencies to learn about cooking and gardening on a budget.  Whānau have enjoyed being in a relaxed positive environment, where they get the opportunity to try new meal ideas and finish off each workshop with a sit down meal and where possible a take home pack.

Manaia Health PHO Community Advisory Group

The PHO’s Community Advisory Group (CoAG) is an important means by which the PHO engages with its communities.  Community representatives serving a three year term represent diverse communities including population groups with high health needs and assist and advise the PHO and its Board on issues relevant to the health of the PHO population.
