Most rewarding aspect of my job:
Most rewarding and challenging aspect of job is living in and being part of a community in which I am also the doctor for. This involves treating patients who may also be friends. It means reducing dislocated shoulder in the living room, removing nasal foreign bodies in the kitchen and suturing wounds on the dining room table. It means attending cardiac arrests on farms while the hens are pecking around and the kids are watching from the car.  It means discussing health complaints in the supermarket aisles and having consultations on the children's sports fields.

Personal aspirations:
Developing self sufficiency with permaculture orchard and vegetable garden

Professional aspirations:
remodelling and redesigning general practice as the model and delivery of medical care changes
